The tragic shooting of a Loyola University freshman last week highlighted Chicago’s serious need for ICE to remove illegal immigrants from its streets. By making Chicago a sanctuary city, Gov. J. B. Pritzker can’t blame President Trump for the tragedy, especially when Trump has continually offered to help make the city safer by deploying the National Guard there.
It is ‘mind-boggling’, as RL used to comically declare, how justice continues to allow the Illinois governor to continue with his numerous threats against the Constitution’s supremacy clause, long standing federal immigration law, and ICE employees. Apparently he has not been visited by the US Marshals or summoned by the DOJ for a clarification. Thus, he and his insurrectionist colleagues in arms continue stirring the fire.
The military approach to taking control of Kharg Island & Straits of Hormuz is interesting – land & sea mines, tunnels & targeted drone strikes versus mobile special forces, mine sweepers & tanker escorts with constant air support. U.S. must seize that island complex & oil revenue to bring this radical Shia regime to its knees and pay for everything.
The moral issue you have is if someone doesn’t respect the immigration laws and without consequence. Then what is to stop them from committing assault, theft, murder, etc.? And if I am not mistaken they are treated differently and with more leniency than citizens in the judicial system.
